TUSC is a small charity organisation which provides transport for sick and disabled children and pregnant women with health needs from villages around Jinja, Uganda, to clinics and hospitals. The service is completely free to use, helping to remove one of the first obstacles to getting timely healthcare for acutely or chronically sick children and pregnant mothers requiring ante-natal care.

TUSC also helps to facilitate 'outreach' for follow-up care in villages and Ugandan communities. Wherever possible, we aim to educate and empower families to safely and effectively treat those around them with basic health knowledge and skills.

Formed in 2012, we are based in the UK with a permanent presence in Jinja. InNovember 2012, we raised the money to buy our “Billy Bus,” named in memory of a beloved friend in the UK whose funeral collection was donated to TUSC. With running costs and fuel prices continually rising, we depend on the kind donations of our sponsors to keep us moving.

We are totally dependent upon the good will of our supporters and every penny we receive is used to run our vehicle and provide mosquito nets. If you wish to know more or support our work please use our 'guestbook' facility, email us, see our "support us" link at the top left of this page, or look for us on "Givingabit", where your online shopping can benefit us without it costing you extra... and as we face growing fuel costs a regular donation of any amount would be amazingly valued. Thank you. May 2014
